Alcohol Prevention Program
Towson University is committed to educating the 快活视频community on alcohol and drug abuse. All new students must complete the alcohol and other drugs prevention program through Safe Colleges.
At Towson University, we recognize that social activities play a role in shaping your academic experience.
We want to ensure that you are:

- aware of your rights and responsibilities as a member of our campus community.
For this reason it is mandatory for all new students to complete the Alcohol and Other Drugs course through Safe Colleges.
Alcohol and other drugs course
Completing the Alcohol and Other Drugs Education Course:
The education course through Safe Colleges must be completed by all new 快活视频students prior to August 15th, 2023. Students who do not complete the program will have a hold placed on their account and will not be able to register for Spring 2024 Semester.
Similarly, for students entering Towson University for the spring 2024 semester, the Alcohol and Other Drugs education course must be completed by January 20th, 2024. Students who do not complete the program will have a hold placed on their account and will not be able to register for the Fall 2023 semester.

What is this mandatory program?
The Alcohol and Other Drug course provided by Safe Colleges is an online course designed to educate students on the risks of alcohol and drug abuse and teach effective strategies for handling dangerous situations related to substance use.
When do I take the program?
For the Fall 2023 semester, the program will be made available on June 1st and students will have until August 15, 2023 to complete the program.
For the Spring 2024 semester, the program will be made available on December 1, 2023 and students will have until January 20, 2024 to complete it.
How do I prepare for the program?
Make sure you have internet and audio capabilities on your computer. Follow the to Safe Colleges and log in with your 快活视频ID. Once logged in, students will see a list of available required courses, including the Alcohol and Other Drugs course and the Sexual Violence Prevention Program. These courses takes roughly 30 minutes and we suggest completing them in one session.
What if I have taken this program before?
All new students at Towson University must take this program regardless if they have completed it at a prior institution.
What if I do not complete this program by the specified deadline?
Students who do not complete this program will have a hold placed on their account and will not be able to register for the following academic semester.
