Student Support Network
From TU's Psychology Department comes the Student Support Network (SSN), a seven-week training program that provides skills to help a friend in crisis. We discuss mental and emotional health, warning signs of a friend who鈥檚 struggling, and how to talk about difficult issues. You will be equipped with resources to address these issues and develop strategies for how to connect them with your friends in need. We utilize direct teaching as well as practice situations with role-playing and visualization in order to build your ability to respond effectively when presented with real struggles from your loved ones.
