Women in Leadership

Women In Leadership focuses on increasing the leadership capacity of women students and preparing them for success in the workplace. Presenters are students, alumnae, faculty, staff, and local businesswomen.

Theme: Permission 2 Pause

Our Spring theme was so impactful, we're back this fall with Part Two! Permission 2 Pause recognizes the many reasons why women need to take a moment, step back, pause, and reflect. Embedded in this is the idea that women often need to give ourselves permission to be or do something. Sessions will empower women to find themselves, explore their ambitions, and set goals for success.

Finding balance between the two can easily allow us to forego prioritizing our own needs and self-care. In this workshop, we will have an honest conversation and an opportunity to reflect on how to accomplish it all by putting ourselves first. Participants can expect to explore ways to lead with confidence, shine through their own unique identities, embrace vulnerability as strength, and incorporate strategies that promote well-being.
