Health Benefits
The State of Maryland provides a generous benefit package to eligible 快活视频employees with a wide range of benefit options that include:
- Medical plans including routine vision services, behavioral health, and a wellness program.
- Prescription drug plan. Prescription drugs are not included in our medical plans. This is a separate freestanding benefit.
- Dental plans
- Term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment plans

State of Maryland Health Benefits
Benefits run on the Calendar Year (CY). Opportunities to enroll are:
- newly hired employees (effective date 1st of the month following date of hire)
- employees with a life event (see Workday page) such as marriage, birth, divorce, death, loss of coverage, etc. (must be reported within 60 days of event). Life event requires documentation, see documentation info (Workday page)
- open enrollment occurring annually each fall (effective date 1st of the following calendar year)

Prescription Drug Program
The prescription drug program is a free-standing benefit and you must be enrolled in order to participate. Prescription Drugs are not included in the Medical Plans.
2024 Prescription Drug program is administered by Contact CVS/Caremark at 1-800-863-5488.

Financial Wellness:
MetLife Personal Finance app is a free financial wellness app that is a new offering from MetLife. You do not have to elect MetLife as a benefit in order to use the app.
The Personal Finance app is a no-cost, confidential financial wellness offering available to all State of Maryland employees. Participation does not depend on benefits eligibility or election.
Once you let the app know about your goals and priorities, it will recommend simple actions, like taking challenges or reading articles, to help you achieve real financial progress鈥攐ne step at a time.
Here are three examples of how MetLife Personal Finance app can help you:
