Purchasing a Personal Computer for College
TU鈥檚 Office of Technology Services maintains a web page dedicated to the minimum specifications you should consider when buying a PC. Note that these recommendations only reflect minimum specifications. To help insure that this purchase lasts the duration of your college career, you are strongly encouraged to configure whichever system you choose with the most RAM and the largest and fastest hard-drive your system would allow, in order to avoid costly upgrades later.
See the OTS page: 鈥Buying a Personal Computer鈥. If you still have any questions after consulting that page, feel free to contact Kyle Cummings through e-mail.
