Job Shadowing Program
Job shadowing is back at 快活视频but with a new name and focus! Tiger LEAP is now Job Shadowing: Tigers Behind the Scenes.
Interested in learning more about industries and job roles related to your major? Job Shadowing: Tigers Behind the Scenes offers sophomore students the opportunity to spend a full day shadowing a professional in a career field related to their studies. This in-person experience will take place during TU's spring break, from March 17鈥�21, 2025.
What is required to participate in the Job Shadowing Program?
Students are responsible for the following to participate in the program:
- Apply by the deadline Sunday, February 16 at by 11:59 p.m.
- Attend one mandatory Student Information Session
- Attend one mandatory Student Orientation to prepare for the experience
- Once matched, it is the student's responsibility to make contact with the 快活视频alum or employer host to arrange a job shadow date/time/location
- Prepare for the experience by researching the organization, developing questions to ask, and practicing a 30-second commercial or 鈥渆levator pitch鈥�
- Attend the job shadow experience and be engaged
- Complete a survey and send a thank you email
鈥� For students considering the Tiger LEAP Job Shadowing Program, my advice would be to approach the experience with genuine curiosity, active engagement, and a proactive mindset. 鈥�
Students will be matched by a Career Center staff member based on both host preference and student career interest.
