Name Badges

A consistent format for name badges helps promote a consistent image.

Name Badge Text Guidelines

  • Name must fit on two lines.
  • Titles (Dr., Mr., Ms, etc.) are not permitted; one credential (e.g. Ph.D. may be used).
  • Title and/or department must fit on no more than two lines.
  • Pronouns may be included if desired. Pronouns should always follow the name.
  • If the inclusion of pronouns constitutes a fifth line, a larger badge (1.5鈥�) may be used.
  • Text should be vertically centered and not be any closer than .125鈥� to edge.
  • Brand mark size and position (to top edge) is constant, whether the badge is 1.25鈥� or 1.5鈥� tall.
