Biography
Mildred Landrum-Hesser grew up in California and Maryland and has also lived and taught
abroad in Japan. Her main areas of focus throughout her career have been in writing,
editing, playing music, and teaching. Her fiction, poetry, articles, and essays have
appeared in numerous publications, and her songs have been recorded and released on
albums and compilations.

RESEARCH
Her research consists of written and musical projects, solo and collaborative, in
fiction, poetry, and non-fiction, as well as songwriting, recording, and performing.
